| In a telephone survey of the best rate plans available in the US from the three major carriers conducted by the Communications/Advantage llc, the average consumer will save 40% or more. On 7-1-02 our analyst called three carriers MCI, Sprint and AT&T and requested their best rate plans for a caller from California. We assumed the caller would make 250 minutes of calling in a month from home and 10, 5-minute calls using a credit card. We also compared Dial-up Internet Service from the Big Three. This information was further confirmed by a Wall Street Journal article published 05-07-02 where it was stated that "resellers offer the best prices" because of volume pricing. | |||||
